Big type in any Google font, every letter built of small characters: the letter itself, other letters, ornaments, emoji or your own images. Each letter can be filled with something else, and the characters are typed or picked one by one. Exports PNG, SVG and plain text.

Cuts lossless letter tiles out of poster scans and sets display titles from them: a word typed is put together from the letters found, and every letter can be swapped for another cut of it.

Hardware-like controls for the screen: a fader, a knob, switches, a numpad, a clock and a small joystick game, each made to be pressed, dragged and played with.

Typed text cast in metal: solid 3D letters in chrome, graphite or brass, sand-cast, chipped or rusted at the edges, lit in a photo studio and path traced on a button. Exports a PNG, a 3D model (GLB) or a live web embed that turns towards the pointer.
The interface all my browser tools share: the picture fills the window, the controls float beside it as a column of liquid glass plates, calmer than a developer’s control panel. The glass bends the picture at each plate’s rim, lights its edges from above and from a lamp over the pointer, and turns light over a light picture.
At work in typefill, glitchbg, typecut, the sand tool and the flow field.
Developed under the supervision of Prof. S. Kosmynka, this A3 folded leaflet is divided into nine panels and presents First Things First 2000 — the updated version of Ken Garland’s 1964 manifesto. The leading typeface is Forma DJR, a playful neo-grotesque conceived in opposition to the typographic standards of its day, which resonates with the manifesto’s own stance. Against that character stand industrial numerals of my own design, inspired by ITC Machine, running in the background of the layout.
